What first struck me about Ray was that he was handsome! What followed was that I found him interesting. I loved that he is eccentric. If it’s common, he skips it. He seemed to be a creative and well rounded person. When we landed on conversation about my favorite book, The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, I decided it made perfect sense to meet up and continue the discussion. On August 27, 2009 Ray accepted my suggestion and our first date was at Havana Alma de Cuba in NYC. We’ve been accepting each other ever since! Each date seemed as if the time would disappear. We both knew it was a great sign. We just fit…on November 27, 2011 in front of the Mayan Pyramids in Chichen Itza, Mexico, Ray proposed! That was the third world wonder we visited together and we’ve decided to continue through the list…together, forever 🙂
